Location was excellent. Near a huge shopping mall with PF Changs, Olive Garden and many great shopping selections. On the block is also a local market with great local vendors and food booths. Convenient to the outlet malls. Washing services were great. Good pool. Will definitely return. Enjoy.
Just checked in, rude and totally unhelpful which in Mexico is unheard of ! Pretty much the worst front desk in memory. Was hoping at least the room would be good but again, reeks of disinfectant until my nose is burning, and hasn't seen a remodel in decades. How a place like this gets a good rating must be a scam somehow. Scott
Best service ever! The maid service was amazing! They changed the sheets and towels every day, often fashioning towels into swans, elephants and other animals. They decorated my bed for my birthday. Really cute. Everything we needed was in the room. No missing water, washcloths, etc. They gave us plenty of extra water, shampoo and coffee packs. They even gave us a small fridge upon request. The concierge and doormen were very helpful. Not only did they secure reasonably priced taxis, but they arranged for a doctor to meet me in the hotel lobby to administer the covid 19 test required to enter the US. The facility is modern, comfortable and clean. The restaurant is ok, not the best but adequate. There is a popular Japanese restaurant next door, however. The hotel bar is fine. The location was perfect for my friend’s dental needs. We sometimes made the half hour walk to the city center, but often took a 100 peso (US$ 5.00) cab ride.
Great experience. Very clean, quiet (though one can hear some plumbing noise), nicely appointed, well equipped gym, pool and good service. Underground parking as well. All you need for a pleasant hotel visit. The bed was slightly lumpy, but otherwise everything was proper. Well done.
Great location, you can easily get to the nearby mall thru a relatively short walk. The restaurants on the ground floor have a decent price and good selection. The view from the room is also pretty good. The showers are extremely effective at avoiding water leakage. The only downside is that, at least my room, didn’t have a fridge.
We spend 5 nights in this hotel and it was great. Quite, clean, good food, spacious room,the service is fantastic. Breakfast is not included but it costs $12.85 dollars pp and is worth it.
The Holiday Inn & Suites Leon Plaza mayor was a very nice hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful at all times. The hotel has three restaurants and everything that I tried was good. The room service is good and also quick. Had a minor issue in the bathroom which was taken care of quickly and I had a pleasant stay while there
